?? Celebrating Women in RevOps ?? This week, we’re excited to showcase Amanda Giacobassi, our Director of Consulting Operations. Her advice for women in RevOps? "Hone in on laser-focused communications. Consider your audience before sharing updates. What do they care about? How does your update fit into their priorities of the day? Are you asking them to make a decision, or keeping them informed? Use a strategic hierarchy of information to share the right level of update so that your message is useful and precise every time. This mindset improves clarity, and confidence, and helps you get things done." Her career advice? "I have two pieces of advice to graduating high school seniors, 1) strong written, verbal, math, and excel skills will allow you to differentiate yourself your entire career and 2) use college as a time to try out jobs: take internships, try part-time jobs in different sectors, and build a resume by college graduation." Her advice for the next generation of women in RevOps? "Be detail-oriented and understand everything about your work. Develop strategies to have top-of-mind what decisions were made, when, why, how project inputs fit in together, and how your work fits into business objectives. I use a single Google document so I can CMD+F search for past decisions and current action items. You might have a different methodology. Being able to speak clearly about your work and its impact will 1) set you apart from your peers, 2) help you identify gaps project owners might not have considered, and 3) pave the way for future leadership positions."
