What differentiates you from every other person that's offering a similar product or service? Part of what differentiates you is YOU. Remember that you don't want to do business with everybody. You want to work with people who believe what you believe. So be authentic about who you are. If part of your sales pitch is requiring you to convince them about the core thesis of what you do, it's not gonna be a good fit. I can help a lot of businesses, but if the owner doesn’t have a growth mindset, or doesn’t believe my services are an investment in the company’s future, that's probably not going to be a good engagement for me. It’s not worth my time and I’m not going to try to convince them otherwise. So I don't need to worry about that. I have to put myself out as who I am and focus on the ones that get it.
