Our SEMA 2024 crew enjoyed the show and the Las Vegas sights! Thanks to all our vendors/manufacturers that hosted evening events- all were a blast to attend. Hyman’s welcomed over 75 painters, managers and owners to our local training facility for some EPA training and certifications! Hyman’s, alongside Florence Soest with Central US Marketing, held two seminars to make sure our customers complied with EPA Rule 40 CFR Part 63. There may have also been some “attendees only” specials including Walcom spray guns, Uniram gun washes, RTI equipment, Champ Products and more! We will be hosting more of these in the fall. Some of our sales and tech team members spent the day with BASF trainer Brennan Johnson this week. They spent their time learning about the capabilities of all the BASF refinish lines, including Baslac, RM, and Glasurit. Our team was also able to get some hands on product training. NEW PRODUCT ALERT! Hear us out: A Superfast 2K Aerosol Primer, with a THIRTY day shelf life. You read that right, 30 days! Introducing- M30 Superfast Primer from Silco. This innovative product is a 2k Aerosol primer. Once activated, it has, at minimum, a 30 day shelf life. With an air dry time of 15 minutes or baking dry time of 5 minutes, this superfast primer will get those spot repairs ready for paint in no time. Let’s be honest, painters have been stuck with a lose-lose situation with aerosol primers/spot repairs. They either have to choose a premium 2K that’s no good after 48 hours (wasteful and inefficienct), or they have to choose a 1K primer.
