Where we realized a reliable on-site hydrogen production system for a client in the glass industry. When producing flat glass, hydrogen gas is utilized over the surface of the molten glass as it floats on a bed of molten tin. This is done to maintain the glass’s flatness and clarity. The hydrogen gas serves to prevent the tin from reacting with air, regulate the temperature, and enhance the overall quality of the glass. High-tech solutions from HyGear can: ?? We are proud to play a key role in the EReTech consortium for sustainable biohydrogen production. Our project manager Daan Kok tells you more about the development of the pilot two test system: a fully containerized solution designed to produce 400 kg/day fuel-cell-grade hydrogen by using electrified steam methane reforming (e-SMR) with biogas as feedstock.
