Hydrosil is a leading manufacturer of chemisorption products (i.e. HS-600). Chemisorption is a type of adsorption process that takes place on the surface of an adsorbent. Once the odor or pollutant is pulled to the surface of the adsorbent (HS-600) it then reacts with the active ingredient (KMnO4). Common pollutants that are removed via the HS-600 using chemisorption are hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide, and chlorinated solvents.
