Its always exciting when we deliver our newest search and rescue robots to a new group of first responders.
This week we had the priveledge to train the Fulshear Simonton Fire Department on their new SONAR EMILY and Swift Water Rescue EMILY. Training included classroom and field operations at local lake for sonar surveys and Brazos River for swift water rescue training. Such a great group of dedicated and talented professionals. EMILY and its key subcomponents was developed on multiple SBIR and STTR programs by US Navy and NSF. #sbir #sttr #SAR #sonar #USV #autonomy.
We are in Halifax Canada for two weeks for Oceans Halix 24, and next week for DEFSEC.
This week we are attending OCEANS 2024 Halifax Conference Center. We gave a joint technical paper on work with our DOE Searcher USV for monitoring the San Dollar populations near under water power generation plants. We were runnng TACTICAL SONAR EMILY with Stockholm Marine Police. We showed them how easy it is to program automated side scan sonar missions and the power of real time sonar feed and control on a tablet thru ATAK software. In seconds and target of interest can be forwarded to the entire SAR team.
This week our team spent some time with the Stockholm Marine Police and ran TACTICAL SONAR EMILY. It was great experience to meet with this team of dedicated professionals. Today, Achipelago Endeavor 2024 comes to an end. Was a great honor to work with so many US and Swedish Marines/Navy. This is our fourth consecutive year with our unmanned system platforms operating in Archipelgo Endeavor. This year we had 11 different types of USV platforms being utilized.
Archipelago Endeavor 2024 in Sweden has now ended. Our team wrapped up the exercise with one last class of another group of US Marines. These marines earned operator certificates for their Hound RADAR Reckless. The Quick change modular RADAR integrations were developed under a Navy Build-Test-Build SBIR program. They learned dissimilar types of RADAR systems with real time feed thru ATAK software and field operations with Starlink to forward realtime RADAR Tracking feeds. Archipelago Endeavor, end of week two in Sweden. Our team wrapped up the week with completing training of another two groups of US Marines. So far we have issued 28 training certificates. These marines earned operator certificates for their Hound RADAR Reckless and CASVAC (casualty evacuation) Reckless. Existing Reckless platforms were upgraded with new capabilities developed under a Navy Build-Test-Build SBIR program. Training included simultaneous operations of two USV platforms with dissimilar types of RADAR systems with real time feed thru TAK software. Week 2 at Archipelago Endeavor in Sweden, we trained up and certified Marines from Force RECON on CASVAC Reckless USV. The CASVAC top is for Casualty Evacuation from the last Tactical Mile. This second generation CASVAC top was develooped in our Navy SBIR Build-Test-Build program. It only takes a few minutes to unpack and clip onto a standard Reckless USV platform. They will be able to perform exercise missions throughout the rest of AE24. Was an honor to work with these guys. We are supporting USMC exercises in Archipelago Endeavor 24 out of Camp Berga, Sweden. This week we trained up and certified 10 Marines from 2nd LAAD (Low Altitude Air Defense). On their Hound Radar Reckless USV. The training included our newest small radar system which we integrated in our Navy SBIR Build-Test-Build program. They will be able to perform exercise missions throughout the rest of AE24.
