Please join us in congratulating Derek Niswonger who is celebrating 24 years with Hydromax USA this week! Derek joined Hydromax USA in 2000 to work on our earliest wastewater programs. During his tenure he has managed over 200 projects culminating in the evaluation of over 8 million linear feet of sanitary and storm sewers nationwide. He worked on our very first gas cross bore project and was instrumental in bringing multi-sensor work into HUSA’s early portfolio. He has been a pioneer, leader, and a coach in operations and equipment maintenance and development. Early on he worked to reengineer limited tools and equipment, helping to set the pace in a quickly growing industry. He opened our first repair shop and central equipment hub where he continues to build proprietary equipment and streamline vehicle and equipment maintenance projects. Derek, THANK YOU for all that you contribute to Hydromax USA and our industry. You are essentially at the center of everything we do. Happy anniversary!

We were asked to conduct a Multi-Sensor inspection on approximately 500 linear feet of a critical effluent pipe that discharges into the Columbia River. Due to the tidal influence from the Pacific Ocean, our Hydromax USA team had to carefully plan and mobilize crews to complete the inspection during a specific monthly low tide window. Project scheduling, fundamentally against?gravitational interactions between the sun, moon, and earth, made for an interesting challenge to identify that window and complete the work on time, with no room for error. Please join us in congratulating David Stiger who is celebrating 16 years with Hydromax USA this week! David joined Hydromax USA in 2008 and has held multiple positions throughout his tenure. Early on he focused on municipal programs before managing the nation’s first cross bore programs, often taking to the field himself to complete the inspection process. He then worked hands on developing equipment and software that could perform at a capacity not yet available in the market and developed many of the best practices still utilized for inspection programs today. His trajectory from project management to industry advancing work as our Senior VP of Technology is one story of career development success that we strive to pursue and repeat throughout our continued growth here at Hydromax USA. David, THANK YOU for all that you contribute to the industry and our shared goal to protect the future of infrastructure. Happy anniversary!
