??Burn-in busters?? ? One of the crucial stages in our membrane production is the membrane bonding process. Here, the palladium membrane is meticulously bonded to a porous carrier plate to increase the robustness of the membrane in operational conditions. This highly developed process has seen our engineers and technicians spend countless hours fine-tuning parameters for optimal performance in terms of production speed and quality. ??The bonding process is continuously monitored and tracked throughout the entire process, giving us valuable data on performance indicators and complete traceability of membranes in terms of quality control. ??Our oven, expertly operated by our technician Per Ansgar Svee, is a kind giant allowing us to test and monitor up to thirty-two membranes simultaneously.?It has been running continuously over the past months, only pausing for membrane changes during burn-in, as we suitably have renamed the process. Per Ansgar says: “The magic in this oven,?is its continuous operation. It is a very robust and solid machine. When one of the components failed in autumn last year, the oven still managed to remain operational with its remaining engines. It reminded me of the Black knight in Monthy Python who said, "Just a flesh wound" about his missing arms. ??This highlights the excellent design and smart choices made during the manufacturing process. We are incredibly proud of our team's dedication and the resilience of our equipment. Ingar Schj?lberg ?ystein Rognes Martin Aunemo Suul Solrun Mesloe Schnitler

Thanks to Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for highlighting the key challenges in advancing hydrogen as a cornerstone of the energy transition. At Hydrogen Mem-Tech, we align with these insights and would like to share our perspective: ? 1) Infrastructure Readiness: Collaboration across the value chain is essential to building an ecosystem for hydrogen production, transportation, and storage. As a company working with blue hydrogen, we understand the importance of building an ecosystem that supports this at scale. Partnerships with big industrial players, infrastructure developers and other stakeholders will be critical to scaling the industry. ? 2) Viable Offtake Agreements: Pricing remains a challenge. Hydrogen’s high cost makes market creation difficult, but initiatives like Norway’s subsidies for coastal hydrogen production show how targeted support can enable adoption and investment in new technologies. ? 3) De-Risking Investments: Scale-ups face significant funding challenges in the go-to-market phase. Predictable frameworks and risk-sharing mechanisms are needed to make hydrogen projects viable for producers and end-users alike. ? Finally, the recently passed Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA) offers a unique opportunity to strengthen hydrogen value chains in Europe. As our CEO, Thomas Reinertsen, has noted several times; partnerships between governments, industry players, and companies like Hydrogen Mem-Tech are critical to seizing this moment and driving meaningful change. ? We are ready. Hydrogen Mem-Tech's technology extracts pure hydrogen from carbon-containing gases and enables CO2 post-treatment. It’s not just promising - it’s scalable, and we’re already testing it on an industrial scale. The challenge now lies in ensuring the right policy frameworks and financial support to bring these solutions to market, quickly and effectively. ? Scale-ups are the backbone of any green transition. They prove that growth is achievable and inspire the next wave of entrepreneurs. If we fail to support scale-ups, we risk losing the technologies that could define our green future. #hydrogen #energy
