We are entrepreneurs helping entrepreneurs access better capital. Our premise is simple, selling equity in your business for capital is the most expensive cost of capital option. At the same time, traditional bank lending is extremely limited in capital availability for most non-asset based businesses. And, other larger forms of debt capital are highly restrictive and highly risky for entrepreneurs. Yet, tech companies require capital to invest in product and sales growth to create or expand their competitive advantages. Enter Hybrid Capital. Having invested a total of $96M across 22 technology and tech enabled services businesses, we are providing entrepreneurs with the ability to raise significant capital with minimal dilution while maintaining full flexibility and management control. We focus on companies where management teams own >50% of the business and write initial check sizes of $1-5M with the ability to provide follow on capital up to $10M. Since 2017, we've had 7 successful exits with all remaining portfolio companies active. All 30 LPs of Hybrid Capital are current or former entrepreneurs and 8 of those are prior recipients of Hybrid Capital who have successfully exited their business.
