As we continue to celebrate Women's History Month, we want to honor all of the hard-working women of #TeamHVO. Introducing Victoria Cameron, the General Manager at Hyatt Vacation Club at Pi?on Pointe. Victoria has been with the company for 15 years and began her career journey as a Front Desk Agent. After working in multiple roles in the Front Office and Resort Operations, she grew into her current role as General Manager. When asked what has been her greatest career lesson, she said, "My greatest career lesson has been to trust your gut and know that your timing is most important. Sometimes there will be opportunities at the wrong time, but those opportunities could arise later and become your future. So just be open to trusting the timing for you."

This Women’s History Month, we honor the achievements and impact of women throughout history. Hyatt Vacation Ownership proudly celebrates the women of our company and their influence on our company culture. Meet Pooja Mehta, the VP of Enterprise Applications. Pooja has been with the company for over 6 years, and her favorite part about working for HVO is the team and the caring culture of the company. When asked what advice she would give the next generation of female leaders, she said "Be yourself. Don't hold yourself back. Grab every opportunity you can get and grow yourself to whichever milestone you want to be at. If that's being in different seasons of life where you either need to be home with your kids or if you want to be the CEO of the company, both are great. You being you is the best way to approach life."

A huge shout-out to Maria C. from Hyatt Vacation Club at The Welk for recently being named her resort's 2024 CHAMP of the Year! ?? Maria currently serves as a Housekeeping Coordinator at her property and has been a member of #TeamHVO for nearly 4 years. When she's away from work, she enjoys using her HVO colleague travel discounts to explore the world and experience new things. "It is an honor to work for HVO because our efforts are noticed and appreciated," she shares. "Every day, I witness the incredible care, passion, and hard work that all of my coworkers put into creating unforgettable and authentic experiences for our guests."

As I start the work week, I’m reflecting on last week’s incredible 4th Annual HVO Leadership Summit with the Hyatt Vacation Ownership team, a rare moment to bring all department and field leaders together in person to celebrate success, focus on the year ahead and reconnect as a leadership team. Our theme was “Focus Forward” as we reflected on our changing industry and business, celebrated our agility and planned for our organization's momentum moving forward. ? ? Thank you to each and every leader who fully showed up to make the most of our time together and to our speakers:?? ? ?? Samantha Sanders and Miriam Blackstone with brand news and developments for Hyatt Vacation Club? ? Special shout out to all who took to the stage to share their stand-up routines during our keynote session and Bill Whelihan for donning a one-of-a-kind costume to help his team bring home the spirit win in our Champ Games. And I can’t forget — a big congratulations to our HVO associates and resorts who achieved best in class achievements in 2024.?? ? What a week it was!
