On Saturday, March 22nd we are honored to host the 12th Annual UNCF Mayor's Masked Ball. This premier fundraising gala and major social event focuses on raising public awareness and large donations to support deserving students across Louisiana.?Since its inception, the UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball has raised $14.7 million in scholarship funds, directly impacting the lives of more than 2,500 students. Hotel General Manager Scott Snipes once again serves as Co-Chair for the annual fundraiser, adding to his legacy of philanthropy. In his five years of service as general manager of Hyatt Regency Savannah, Scott served in several community leadership roles, including board member and treasurer of Savannah Mobility Management, a nonprofit organization devoted to improving transportation in downtown Savannah and member of the board of governors of Bethesda Academy, a private day school for young men. In Atlanta, as General Manager of Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, Scott served as a board member of the Buckhead Community Improvement District, a mayoral appointment, and on the board of the highly ranked Georgia State University's School of Hospitality.
