Take a look at our recent “Egg Drop Challenge,” where kiddos had to creatively wrap and protect their eggs before dropping them from a stairwell. The goal? During that month, diners at the Novi and Troy locations enjoyed delicious meals while directly supporting our mission to inspire and uplift youth in our community. ?? This past weekend, our incredible board member Gavin Marshall hosted his annual "Garage Games" event—a fun-filled fundraiser to support The Konnection’s mission! ?? The day was packed with amazing new supporters as they battled it out in games like ping pong, cornhole, pop-a-shot, and more! The energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support. A huge shoutout to Gavin, the board and everyone who came out to compete and contribute. ??Last week, we officially kicked off our Konnection Klub after-school program for the third year in a row! It feels like just yesterday we started this incredible journey. During week one, we focused on building relationships and creating camaraderie among the students. From fun games and creating ground rules to team-building activities, and even setting our goals for the school year, we’re off to a great start! ???? Once a month, The Konnection youth engage in community service as part of our commitment to fostering servant leadership, one of our core values. We believe it's essential to teach young people that they have much to offer. This week, we partnered with the Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) to support their annual fashion show event. Our youth did an outstanding job greeting and seating seniors, serving lunch, and embodying kindness throughout the day.
