Hy-Line North America Co-Hosts Egg Forum 2024 Hy-Line North America, the leader in USA day-old chick production, is again teaming up with the Egg Industry Center (EIC) to host the 2024 Egg Industry Issues Forum in Baltimore, Maryland. Registration and the hotel block are currently open for this year’s Egg Industry Issues Forum which is tackling educational topics like international HPAI vaccination programs, potential U.S. tools and technologies for HPAI, updates on other disease pressures within the industry, air quality including filtering and ammonia monitoring and measurement, farm labor ideas, and what regenerative agriculture in the egg industry could look like. Individuals interested in animal welfare during poultry handling and transport can partake in an optional workshop just before the start of the Forum. “Hy-Line North America is proud to support Egg Forum and help strengthen the industry’s knowledge of existing science that can inform our daily decisions about the tough issues that the industry faces,” said Pete Block, President of Hy-Line North America. “EIC’s goal is to host an Egg Forum program that is informative for egg company’s decision makers from production to executives,” said Brett Ramirez, EIC’s Interim Director and Associate Professor of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering. “And we know that allied industry is concerned about the same issues as the decision makers, so Egg Forum is a great opportunity for them to learn and discuss potential collaborations.” The Egg Industry Issues Forum will be held at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore and starts at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29. It ends with lunch on Wednesday, October 30. Those interested in the optional workshop can join starting at 8:00 a.m. on October 29.
