This month, we had the opportunity to attend HLTH Inc. in Las Vegas, and join countless leaders and experts in the space as we all work collectively to push the healthcare industry forward. The value in these events lie in the connections, in the hours we spend each day meeting new faces, reconnecting with those we're only able to see regularly through a screen, learning from one another, building relationships, and ultimately, reigniting our shared passion for innovation in the healthcare space so that the industry can better serve the people who rely on it -- every single one of us. AI is forcing nearly every industry to evolve, and healthcare is no exception. Law360 caught up with Managing Partner of Healthworx, Doba Parushev, to get his perspective on AI as it pertains to healthcare. The technology has tremendous potential to automate much of the tedious work that exists within healthcare. More specifically, and in his words, "AI has capabilities that are on par and potentially beyond human," by being more consistently "empathetic" for longer periods of time, as well as more knowledgeable than any single person could be. "I'm keeping very much an open mind because I'm not quite sure how it's going to affect our world yet," he said. "I just know it's going to be different." The important takeaway here -- maintain an open mind. Resistance to change will never be the answer. But when it comes to healthcare -- a space that is dire for innovation -- AI could very well be a tool that helps bring new solutions to life, increases the accessibility of care, and improves the patient experience.

Coming at you, live, from HLTH 2024 in Las Vegas! Exponential amounts of time, energy, resources, and effort go into these professional conferences. There's endless amount of preparation required, and once you've arrived, the work has only begun. We were -- and are -- looking forward to familiarizing ourselves with the various ways in which the healthcare industry is innovating, both out of interest and intrigue, as we continue our collaborative work to build a better future for healthcare. The best part? The opportunity to interact with so many brilliant minds working in and around the industry, to connect with professionals from all walks of life who share a common goal of driving innovation into healthcare, and to learn and garner inspiration from one another that we can carry home and back into our work. The 2024 Inaugural Healthworx Accelerator Cohort is up and running! What a journey it has been as we've molded Healthworx Accelerator into a transformative 'graduate program' for ambitious and innovative early-stage healthcare companies. Over the past year, as the Healthworx mission ambitiously grew, our model expanded to reshape our program, and simultaneously develop tangential avenues for impact in the form of Healthworx Ventures and Healthworx Studio.
