?? HWCLI was thrilled to attend Fidelis Care - New York's Community Networking Event at their new Rego Park location—also a new home to HWCLI’s SNAP team! ?? We’re grateful for our partnership with Fidelis Care, who is dedicated to supporting our diverse community. This event also celebrated Fidelis Care and the Centene Foundation’s $1.1 million grant to The Jed Foundation (JED), to expand mental health resources for New York’s youth through workshops, training, and support programs to CBOs across the state. ?? The need for action is urgent; with each passing day, more babies are stillborn. The U.S. has both the capacity and the responsibility to strive for better outcomes for moms and babies. Without progress in improved data collection, research, education, and awareness, we will remain greatly limited in our understanding of why babies are dying at this rate and what we can do to combat this crisis! That’s why we need to pass the SHINE for Autumn Act, H.R. 5012/S.2647 before the end of the 118th Congress, we call on Congress to see this through!
