Operations Expert Ashley Ferguson works with lead operator David St. Clair during start-up. Jacksonville Wastewater Utility recently modified their extended aeration process to take advantage of simultaneous nitrification/denitrification for alkalinity conservation to help them comply with ammonia limits under increased loading. Evoqua PLC Controls and an Ignition SCADA system was installed at the plant to help operators manage the more complication process. HW Engineers understands that the end of construction is just the beginning for operators left to manage a modified process. Ashley Ferguson, an experienced class IV wastewater operator on HW's Field Services Team, applies her expertise to help our clients have a seamless start-up.
