It takes focus, discipline and a deep understanding of architecture to complete the six-part Architect Registration Examination (ARE) – a rigorous process that, on average, takes nearly three years to finish. Devon Brogan, Hutton Design+Build team member, completed his in just five months. From September to February, Devon committed himself fully to studying, balancing intense preparation with his day-to-day responsibilities at Hutton. His ability to absorb complex material quickly and apply it with confidence speaks to both his technical skill and determination. His expertise and drive continue to make a meaningful impact on the Hutton Design+Build team, contributing to thoughtful design solutions and efficient project delivery. We’re excited to keep seeing his growth in action and the value he brings to our projects and clients.

关于我们
We're more than builders, we're a team of experts – planners, architects, builders and maintenance all in one house. We serve as a single resource at any point in a client’s facilities journey. However a company may be changing, whether that be new strategic processes, a new building, maintenance for an existing building, or a switch to alternative energy, we're the pros who work it from start to finish and then some. We do it all.

Hutton Energy Services recently installed a 180.54 kW DC solar system for Wifco Steel Products, Inc., featuring 306 bifacial modules designed to generate 254,350 kWh annually – expected to save the company approximately $25,000 per year. To improve efficiency, we used Ironridge tilt legs to increase the panel angle by 15 degrees, maximizing solar production. This system helps WIFCO cut energy costs as they manufacture high-quality steel products for industries across the country.?

Last week, Hutton Design+Build project manager Tyler Spohn taught construction skills to a Lindsborg, KS, Girl Scout Troop. Tyler volunteered with Girl Scout Troop 20940 to help Daisies and Brownies earn their “Tinker & Craft” (engineering) badges by following plans to build a bridge for an upcoming Bridging Ceremony. With safety glasses and hard hats in place, 20 future builders learned about construction, creativity and the power of following a plan.

Construction is officially underway for Valley Center’s new elementary school, and we celebrated with the community with a special Ground Bringing ceremony. This Saturday, students brought soil from various district elementary schools to symbolize unity and growth – and to mark the next chapter for Valley Center Public Schools, USD 262. We’re proud to partner with Alloy Architecture the district to build this space that will serve students, teachers and the community for years to come.

Phase one of Minneola Schools USD 219’s project includes a pre-school, elementary school and junior high addition as well as a kitchen. That work is coming along nicely – here's an update on our progress. Roofing is nearing completion, and we’re closing in on finishing the interior framing, too. Key installations like kitchen equipment and the sprinkler system are also moving along. More work is yet to be done, but things are moving as planned. Projects like these are the fun ones because we get to shape spaces for students and educators to thrive.
