We are thrilled to welcome Westley J Crouch to the board. An Army veteran and reporter for the Aspen Times in our beautiful Roaring Fork Valley, he sees his role on the board as an opportunity to support the organization’s vision and ensure that those who attend its programs can experience the same sense of renewal and connection that the mountains have long provided him. Welcome to the team, Wes!

Our nature-based approach aims to provide unconventional psychological healing beyond traditional therapies. Our mission is to help veterans adjust to and enjoy civilian life by providing tools to enhance their mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health. We offer immersive wilderness programs that feature guided hikes, group discussions, and community-building activities. Huts for Vets believes that addressing the whole person, including body, mind, and spirit, is essential to equipping veterans with the tools they need to cope with trauma and depression.
