His desire and ambition to learn more about the industry has fueled his successful 20-year run with the company. This season at Hutch Paving Inc., we kicked off a new mental health initiative. During our annual orientation, everyone received a poker chip with a QR code linking to 988lifeline.org, full of mental health and suicide prevention resources. Why a poker chip? We want these resources handy, literally in your back pocket. Anytime I’m out on job sites, employees can show me their poker chip to be entered to win one paid rain day. This is our way of ensuring these critical resources are always at hand.
