I’m thrilled to share that I’ve successfully completed the Project Management Essentials Program on Coursera in collaboration with Howard University University, instructed by Morris Thomas, PhD, MBA, PMP. I earned a 91.87% grade, and it has been an incredible learning journey! ?? Here’s what I’ve gained from this program: ?? Project Management Methodologies – Mastered fundamental frameworks like Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid, equipping me to select the best approach based on project type and stakeholder needs. ?? Data-Driven Decision Making – Learned to analyze project metrics, milestones, and KPIs to track progress and drive adjustments in real-time, ensuring alignment with project goals. ?? Lifecycle & Process Groups – Gained hands-on experience in applying the five key process groups (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing), adapting each stage to suit different project requirements. ??? Tool Proficiency – Explored powerful project management tools such as Gantt charts, PERT diagrams, and earned value management (EVM) techniques, empowering me to handle project timelines, resource allocation, and cost management with precision. ?? Risk & Stakeholder Management – Enhanced skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, as well as communicating effectively with stakeholders across various project phases. This program has solidified my technical understanding, making me ready to implement these skills in future projects. ??
