November is Indigenous Month, and today we’re spotlighting Hadassah GreenSky. She is a cultural worker, multidisciplinary artist, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist who blends modern and ancestral knowledge to elevate Native voices and create equity for Indigenous communities. In Detroit, Hadassah helped launch Vibes with The Tribes, a music festival, and founded The Waawiyaatanong NDN Market, both aimed at supporting and uplifting Native artists. She is also the creator of The Red Ghetto Project, a powerful narrative about Detroit’s Native neighborhood from the 1940s-1970s. Currently, Hadassah is collaborating with SNAG Magazine and The NEST to continue developing her craft.
