Last week, our Hunter Roberts Construction - Philadelphia team reached a significant construction milestone for the life science development at 2300 Market Street! A topping out ceremony was held on Friday, May 31st to celebrate the progress that has already been made, and to watch the final steel beam get raised into place. ?? ??? Developed by Breakthrough Properties, this project will consolidate three existing sites to create an 8-story, 225,000 SF, state-of-the-art life science and laboratory facility. Construction is in full swing for the new first-year residence hall at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia! The General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) recently published a project spotlight article on The Laurel and 1909 Rittenhouse Apartments in their latest issue of Construction Today. Located on what was the last undeveloped section of Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, the 50-story, ultra-luxury tower soars to a height of 604 feet and includes an assortment of condominiums, apartments, amenities, retail, offices, and an underground parking garage. Our Hunter Roberts Construction - Philadelphia team is making tremendous strides on the Spark Therapeutics, Inc. Gene Therapy Innovation Center in West Philadelphia, in the heart of University City! Once complete, the 500,000 SF, 6-story center will feature a fully developed cGMP manufacturing facility with labs, green roof, 1 level of below grade parking, and much more. Hunter Roberts Construction - Philadelphia is thrilled to share construction for Jefferson Health’s $762 million Honickman Center is complete! Located in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia, the 19-story medical tower was built with patients in mind and brings together a wide range of specialties into one state-of-the-art space. The Honickman Center boasts over 300 exam rooms, 58 infusion chairs, 10 operation rooms, six endoscopy rooms, imaging and laboratory services, a pharmacy, and an underground parking garage. Last week, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to mark the completion and usher in a new era of healthcare. Our team joined the celebration with our JV partner, LF Driscoll, and the entire project team. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this world-class facility to life! Earlier this month, Hunter Roberts joined Jacobs and Spark Therapeutics, Inc. to celebrate the topping out of the final steel beam for the Gene Therapy Innovation Center project. Located in West Philadelphia in the heart of University City, the 500,000 SF, multi-story facility will serve as a Roche center of excellence for gene therapy manufacturing globally once completed. We are proud to be a part of this exciting project, and would like to give a big congratulations to the entire project team on this significant milestone!?
