Several Hunt Refining Company ladies participated in the Empowering Women in Industry Conference held at the Bryant Conference Center.?The event was an excellent opportunity to come together to explore key topics related to the challenges and opportunities women face in our industry. The conference featured dynamic speakers and interactive roundtable discussions; focusing on vital topics such as leadership, overcoming limiting beliefs, mentoring, and other topics aimed at fostering career development. The United Way of the Pine Belt's Annual Meeting took place on Tuesday, February 25th at South Central Place in Laurel, MS. ?Hunt Southland Refining Company was the recipient of the Innovation Award and the Diamond Award. The Innovation Award is given to companies who had the most creative campaigns. The Diamond Award is given to companies who had more than a 20% increase in giving over the previous year.?Tim Elkins and Sylvia Clark accepted the awards on behalf of the company.??

Hunt Refining Company is a corporate sponsor for the United Cerebral Palsy of West Alabama (UCPWA) and Anna Johnson, HR Manager, serves on their board. Anna attended the UCPWA’s annual Stakeholder’s Luncheon on February 11, 2025.?Anna is pictured with several of the board members at the event. Anna is also pictured with Becci Hauser (UCPWA) and employees from the United Way of West Alabama.?

Hunt Refining Company will host a Lunch & Learn and an afternoon Information Session on Thursday, January 16th where students can learn about our Environmental and IT Co-Op programs.?

Hunt Refining Company employees and their families enjoyed a fantastic Christmas party at the University of Alabama Bryant Denny Stadium. We enjoyed delicious food, singing and getting pictures with Santa and Big Al!?Employees brought donations for a Toy Drive for our Adopt-A-School partner.?Pictured is Simon Walshe, CSP Walshe, reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to the kids. Hunt Refining Company employees generously donated toys for our local Adopt-A-School partner, Oakdale Elementary School. Pictured with the gifts is Counselor Lander Fisher. Our employees consistently display our core value of Community with their generous giving to those less fortunate.

The March of Dimes helps moms have full term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something does go wrong, they offer information and comfort to families. Every year they sponsor a Blue Jeans for Babies fundraiser and Hunt Refining Company participates. Employees purchased t-shirts to show support for The March of Dimes and they are rewarded with being able to wear their new t-shirt and blue jeans to work. Pictured are some of the participants.

Hunt Refining Company is a proud Adopt-A-School partner to Oakdale Elementary School in Tuscaloosa, AL.?Oakdale participated in the Bookworm Project to promote reading and increase exposure to reading material. Books are donated once a month and the school asked for some volunteer readers. Several Hunt Refining Company employees volunteered to read to the students.

Happy Halloween!?Hunt Refining Company has several employees celebrating Halloween with costumes.?Seaborn Gray came to work as Elf. Parker Jackson and Katie Doggett are dressed as Sully and Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. ?Pretty creative!!

On September 26, Hunt Refining Company hosted the eleventh annual Fueling Dreams Golf Tournament at NorthRiver Yacht Club. There was a great turnout, with more than 260 golfers participating. All proceeds will benefit the United Way of West Alabama. Thank you to all of our sponsors and employees who volunteered.?We could not do this without you!
