The first 12” thick slab pour has been completed for this 183,000-sq.-ft. rail-served concrete tiltwall warehouse with crane service. The Lot A spec building is visible in the background. We are excited to share that in collaboration with HODGES Architecture, Huffines Communities has embarked on the development of the highly anticipated Heartland Town Square in our thriving Heartland master-planned community. Strategically located at the southeast corner of I-20 and FM741, this expansive 25-acre retail and commercial project is set to become a vibrant hub. With 7-Eleven and McDonald's already open and Taco Bell breaking ground in August 2024, the excitement is palpable! Construction has commenced on three multi-tenant retail buildings, offering nearly 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. End-cap tenants will enjoy patio dining areas, and the outdoor lawn surrounded by these buildings will feature a jumbo-screen TV for sporting events and movies. Extensive landscaping and play sculptures will enhance the experience for the 15,000+ residents of Heartland and over 100,000 potential customers within a 7-minute drive. Hunt & Joiner, Inc. provided structural engineering services for the new DICK'S Sporting Goods distribution center in South Fort Worth. We're thankful for the opportunity to partner with GSR Andrade Architects and Hillwood on this 800,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. This regional distribution center, designed to accommodate potential future expansions, also includes a 100,000 square foot mezzanine, large equipment platforms, and the capability to support conveyor systems suspended from the roof.

Our team celebrated the Topping Out Party with the City of Bryan for the Schulman's Movie Bowl Grille set to open in March of 2025. The new 115,000-square-foot entertainment facility will house a movie theater, bowling allies, laser tag, arcade games, an outdoor amphitheater, yard games, pickle ball courts, a restaurant, bar and more!
