关于我们
Hunger Impact Partners wants to ensure that children in Minnesota are only hungry to learn. We pursue our mission in two stages: 1. Use big data analytics and food-space networking to identify communities that are under-utilizing federal child nutrition programs; 2. Leverage strategic partnerships to enable organizations to both maximize food delivery to kids and receive federal reimbursement dollars to sustain the targeted community- and school-based nutrition programs Operating in the model of collective impact, Hunger Impact Partners coalesces innovative minds and professional expertise among Minnesota’s business, government, and philanthropic communities. Together we drive systemic change and build capacity within the fight against child hunger; our outcomes deliver sustainable changes in how we close the meal gap for low-income kids. For example, we have facilitated significant gains in programs for school breakfast and after-school meals; statewide, our efforts have added 4.3 million meals to the system, which in turn have secured $10.7 million in federal reimbursements. Well-fed kids are equipped to fulfill their potential to be better students and citizens. They will have support in breaking the cycle of poverty. Hunger Impact Partners’ cross-platform efforts will help Minnesota lead the nation in solving food insecurity for our kids.
