This week, we attended the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - IFRC conference on corruption prevention and strengthening quality assurance mechanisms in the humanitarian sector. This gathering provided a fantastic opportunity for CHS Alliance and Humentum staff to connect in person (see photos below ??). Among the sessions, Tanya Wood shared how the Investigator Qualification Training Scheme is bridging the gap in survivor-centered investigations, highlighting practical insights for implementation. We also spoke with leaders of Red Cross national societies across the globe. They shared their pain points regarding the lack of resources and qualified investigators using a survivor-centered approach in their countries.
