A year ago, we were just trying to get CARINARA on the shelves of a single store. Now, we’re in over 100 Hy-Vee, Inc. locations across eight states. The game hasn’t changed—grab the customer’s attention and show them why CARINARA is worth choosing. But now, we’re playing on a much bigger field. Some of these stores are in places we’ve never even been. That’s why it’s more important than ever to make sure the managers know who we are and that we’re here to support them in any way we can. So, we picked up the phone. One by one, we called every single store, introduced ourselves, and said a massive 'THANK YOU' for giving us a opportunity. The call was short and simple, but it mattered. We’re a small company competing against giants, and we see that as a superpower. While they rely on their size, we show up. We connect. We ended 2024 with a huge win! CARINARA is now available in over 100 HyVee stores across the Midwest!! ?? (check the link below) This is a massive achievement and we could not be more grateful. Find your store ?? : https://lnkd.in/gPzi8bQr We landed on the shelves of our very first store in December of 2023 - shoutout to HyVee Papillion for giving us a shot! When we set goals for the year, our plan was to land in 15 stores. We quickly blew past that in February and just kept on going. We wanted to make sure that people were seeing CARINARA on the shelf and getting an opportunity to experience something new. Throughout the year our team spent hundreds of hours at the markets and behind the sample table. In total we handed out a staggering 22K samples last year alone! ?? All of that effort paid off when Lomar (HyVee's Distributor) slid into our DMs saying the VP of Health Markets for HyVee wanted CARINARA on the shelf by the end of the year! After a brief moment of celebration (and losing our minds) - we hit the kitchen, hard. We doubled our production overnight, and then doubled again just a few weeks later. In 6 weeks we cooked, filled, and packed over 5000 jars by hand. And in the week before Christmas, we shipped our first pallets. A special thank you goes out to Danielle Davis with Lomar Distributing for her incredible work in coordinating our onboarding process - her dedication made all the difference! And to the entire Lomar team, thank you for your patience in bringing in a small, family-owned business.
