Humanitarian African Relief Organization (HARO)

Humanitarian African Relief Organization (HARO) is a non-profit organization located in the United States. Our purpose is to provide urgent humanitarian relief and long-term solutions to systematic issues throughout the Horn of Africa. We work on the principles that are philanthropic and volunteer-driven. Our organization, together with its partners, is working hand-in-hand with the people of Africa to help them get back on their feet. Together, we strive to combat against poverty and serve the real needs of those in critical circumstances. Our priorities are set according to the level of urgency and the field of assistance ranges from emergency response, orphan care, education, to unexpected situations such as droughts or floods as well as employment opportunities for the youth across the Horn of Africa. Also, HARO partners with some of the rapidly-expanding organizations who are working for a common cause, i.e., serving the humanitarian needs.
