The Inspiration Behind humanID Our founder, Bastian Purrer, was inspired by his time working on political campaigns in Indonesia. He witnessed how fake accounts and online propaganda caused chaos and contested elections. This experience highlighted how the internet can harm democracies with bot networks, fake news, and polarization. Recognizing that many proposed solutions lean towards more control and less freedom, Bastian created humanID. Our mission is to make sure that each individual has an authentic voice in the online world.
