?? Ryan, Our Featured Pet of the Week! ?? This morning, Jody shared Ryan’s story during our weekly radio spots on B-93 Country and WHBL. It’s always a challenge to highlight just one pet when so many deserving animals need homes, but right now, we’re focusing on those who have been with us the longest. Ryan needs our help. For over a year, Ryan has been navigating the challenges of shelter life, and it has been truly heartbreaking to watch. Despite making many friends along the way, he’s still waiting for the right family to call his own. Sadly, the stress of shelter life has taken its toll—his once-bright spirit now shows signs of anxiety and frustration. But there’s so much more to Ryan than his shelter stress. ? He’s incredibly smart and capable, having completed training with Off Leash Manners in Manitowoc. ? On Christmas Eve, Ryan had the joy of spending the day with his favorite volunteer, Claire, who has stood by his side since he first arrived. Their bond speaks volumes about the loyal and loving companion Ryan can be. Now, Ryan is searching for an experienced, understanding home where he can truly thrive. ? Due to resource-guarding tendencies, Ryan would do best as the only dog in a kid-free home. ? He needs patient owners willing to provide the structure and guidance he deserves. BONUS! ?? Holiday Cheer Alert! ?? We want to send a HUGE thank you to the incredible Sargento IT Department for choosing us as their charity of choice this holiday season! ?? ? Their team went above and beyond, dividing into four groups for a friendly competition to collect items from our wish list. Today, they delivered SEVEN massive boxes filled with essentials like copy paper, paper towels, pet enrichment items, Martingale collars, laundry detergent, and more! ?? ? As if that wasn’t enough, they also brought over $500 in cash and gift cards to support our work! ?? ? And the cherry on top? A thoughtful team member crafted a stunning ornament using a 3-D printer. We’re sending a HUGE thank you to the folks from Sargento Cheese who came out to the shelter as part of United Way of Sheboygan County’s Day of Caring! Volunteers spent all morning cleaning our vans, moving mulch, planting shrubs, scrubbing kennels, and organizing supplies. We are so grateful for the time they dedicated to our organization!
