Looking back on 2024, we’re very proud of (and grateful for!) what we accomplished. ?? The Human-Animal Alliance awarded $87,500 in grants to organizations making a real difference—helping active-duty military members keep their pets, supporting equine-assisted therapy programs for trauma survivors, funding animal-assisted learning programs for kids, helping pets during natural disasters, and more. Grantees included Pawster Nashville, PACT for Animals, BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER, BARK THERAPY DOGS, The Street Dog Coalition, Pawsitive Beginnings Inc, Tomorrow's Rainbow, and SHEPHERD YOUTH RANCH INC. This work matters because the connection between humans and animals transforms lives.?And we are on a mission to advocate for it however, and wherever, possible. Every dollar we raised in 2024 went directly to supporting these programs, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our donors and friends. ??When disaster strikes, animals need us, too!?? The devastating California wildfires have left hundreds of companion animals injured and displaced. In response, The Human-Animal Alliance has granted $25,000 to Pasadena Humane to support their lifesaving work. From dogs and cats to tortoises and hamsters, their team has been on the front lines, providing medical care, safe shelter, food, and water to animals in need. “As Floridians, we are no stranger to natural disasters. The Human-Animal Alliance is honored to award a $15,000 grant to BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER which will fund one full academic enrichment youth program in 2025! This incredible program will help children from under resourced communities work toward improved academics, while also building empathy, confidence, and life skills – all through forming deep connections with rescued animals. The new Welcome & Pet Adoption Center, opening this year, will provide even more opportunities for growth, healing, and joy.
