The Hui Huliau family of companies is a performance driven organization that delivers success for our customers through innovative solutions and effective contract performance. In our first five years of operation, we grew from a startup organization with a handful of employees to a trusted service provider for large, complex multinational contracts. Our employees are among the best in the industry and have decades of hands-on experience across a wide range of disciplines. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO), Hui Huliau’s core purpose is to function as a community service organization and address the needs of Native Hawaiians. We do this through our own diverse programs and by supporting like-minded nonprofits whose mission aligns with ours. Profits from our Small Business and SBA certified 8(a) companies support our nonprofit activities. Our 8(a) companies are eligible for Department of Defense sole source contract awards with contract value up to $100M without justification and approval. Our Mission: To strengthen our communities, make a positive impact on the lives we touch, and provide a brighter future for the Native Hawaiian people through education, economic opportunities, and the preservation of the Hawaiian language and culture.

Happy Aloha Friday!?Our team had a wonderful time at the SAME 2024 Federal Small Business Conference this week. Who doesn’t have fun in New Orleans? It was exciting to hear Lt. Gen. William H. (Butch) Graham P.E., USA, Chief of Engineers and Commanding General, USACE, talk about the West Maui Temporary School project during the Opening General Session. He mentioned it twice! He visited the site during construction so he had a firsthand look at the work our team was doing. Our folks also got to say hello to the USACE Contracting Officer for the Maui school project, and to our Goodfellow Bros. teammates! Our work in Maui was a success because everyone associated with rebuilding the King Kamehameha III Elementary School was committed to restoring some normalcy for a bunch of kids affected by the Maui wildfires. That was the case this week when Howard A Russell, Jr, Chief Strategy Officer, was spotted at the GovCon Giants Summit in Miami. This morning Howard joined John Cook (Strategic Growth Advisors), Emil J. Hinkefent (Kaiva Corporation), and Michael White (Puyenpa) in a panel discussion about the advantages of working with tribal small businesses.
