Las Vegas Fire & Rescue hit the jackpot of apparatus! ???? This three of a kind trio of #Velocity #Pumpers features both rear-facing SCBA seats and forward-facing seats for EMS calls. The shiny pump panels add an extra flair to their operations in #LasVegasNV. To boost firefighter ergonomics, each engine has a deployable step for loading hose. In upcoming years, they will be taking delivery of ten engines and three trucks to strengthen their fleet.

Today King County International Airport (KCIA) recieved the first hybrid electric firetruck in the US. The Oskosh firetruck will be operated by the members of the KCSO ARFF Unit. These are Deputies who are also certified Firefighters. Great day for all involved.

Last week, I had the pleasure of completing a final inspection at Pierce Manufacturing with Lynden Fire Department (WA) on their 107’ Ascendant Enforcer Aerial. The trip was a success and the truck turned out amazing! It is staged to be shipped to our Mount Vernon Service Center. There, the truck will go through an extensive Post Delivery Inspection (PDI). Once completed, the truck will take its last journey to the great city of Lynden Washington! On behalf of Hughes Fire Equipment, Inc., we thank you for your continued support.
