Earlier this month, the YMCA of Greenville hosted its annual Day of Giving event to raise dollars and awareness for its annual campaign. Each year, through the Annual Campaign, generous donors provide the financial resources that make it possible for the Y to ensure no one is turned away based on their ability to pay. One hundred percent of Annual Campaign contributions go back into the community and make it possible for children, families, seniors, neighbors, and others to benefit from Y programs and memberships. Friends and supporters of Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) gathered last night to reflect on the organization’s 2024 achievements as well as those who continue to make a difference within Greenville’s arts community. Once again, TD Bank partnered with MAC to present the 24th annual TD Bank Business and the Arts Partnership Awards to honor those businesses and individuals that have contributed significantly to local arts. This year’s honorees included Foster Victor Wealth Advisors, Think Up Consulting, P.C., The Woodlands at Furman and Annette Garver, the 2024 winner of the Put Your Heart in the Arts Volunteer of the Year award. Yesterday, more than 1,000 community members, leaders, and dignitaries gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of Triumph Stadium at BridgeWay Station! The groundbreaking marks a significant milestone for the Upstate, as the stadium is poised to become a vibrant hub for sports, entertainment, and community events. In addition, the stadium will also provide a permanent home for the Greenville Triumph SC and Greenville Liberty. Joined by Brazilian soccer legend and member of the Greenville Pro Soccer ownership group, Ronaldinho, the event highlighted the collaborative efforts of Greenville Pro Soccer, the City of Mauldin, the State of South Carolina, and Hughes Investments, Inc.. Hughes Agency is proud to work alongside the Greenville Triumph & Liberty Soccer Clubs and looks forward to seeing this project come to life!

Tuesday, the Prisma Health Family YMCA broke ground on the initial phase of the multi-step campus expansion project in response to Southern Greenville County’s exponential growth in recent years. The groundbreaking marks a significant step in the transformational journey towards providing added space for members and participants. Phase one will add an additional 14,500 square feet and will include a second gymnasium, childcare programs, three classrooms, a dedicated drop-off/pick up circle, additional offices, restrooms, and conference room.
