Last night, retiring president and CEO of the YMCA of Greenville, Scot Baddley, was awarded the Order of the Palmetto during a celebration at Avenue honoring Baddley’s 20 years of service at the helm of one of Greenville County’s largest health and human services organizations. The Order of the Palmetto is South Carolina’s highest civilian honor and is presented to leaders in recognition of a lifetime of extraordinary achievement, service, and contributions on a national or statewide scale.
