I grew up in Western Canada, not far from the Rocky Mountains where I spent a fair bit of time hiking, climbing, camping and skiing. I went to college in Ottawa, studying architecture and then practiced the same in Montreal for a couple of years. I lived in India and did and MBA in finance at Booth (University of Chicago), working in finance for 10 years, in Toronto and then San Francisco. Since 1999, I work in technology. I have a strong consultative/complex sales background, with the analytical and presentation skills necessary to communicate the benefit of complex offerings to potential partners, customers or investors. I have a long track record of building teams, coaching, training and managing within early stage companies. I’ve coached senior executives, helping them figure out how to be more effective leaders, managers, doers. I’ve helped dozens of people figure out what they want to do with their lives, find jobs or change careers .and have develop a simple system to take folks through this process I also bake sourdough bread and run a subscription based micro bakery. I’ve consulted with several bakery startups in different parts of the world to help them expand operations, improve quality.
