We're excited to announce that Huff Energy Solutions has entered into an agreement to commence construction of a ground-mounted solar project for Mariani Packing Company, a family-owned and operated business since 1906, renowned for producing premium dried fruit products. This project, currently in the design phase, will feature a 2.514 MW ground-mounted solar array at Mariani's facility in Vacaville, CA, designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. The installation is facilitated through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solaris Energy, a mission-driven organization focused on providing innovative financing solutions to support the expansion of solar energy and battery storage systems. A PPA is a financial arrangement in which a third-party developer owns, operates, and maintains the solar energy system, and a customer agrees to purchase the system's electric output for a predetermined period.
