#NewJersey | The traditional Save Latin America Inc’s Family Health Festival, whose 99th edition took place on Sunday, November 17th, more than met its stated objectives. A large number of attendees—adults, seniors, youth, and children, from different cities in Hudson County—participated with enthusiasm and great expectation in the scheduled activities, benefiting free of charge from the #services and #information provided by prestigious hospitals, health insurance companies, and health providers in the #GardenState.
Antonio Ibarría, director and founder of the emblematic newspaper #ElEspecialito and president of #SaveLatinAmerica; and Henry Acosta, Executive Director of Save Latin America, Inc., were hosts of this extraordinary day of #health, solidarity and entertainment held at Union City High School. Both personalities made sure that all attendees received timely and efficient attention.
The 2024 Fall Family Health Festival offered updated COVID (Pfizer and Moderna) vaccine and Flu vaccine, #healthscreenings (blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, and dental screening), pap smearm, family planning services, information on HIV and sexually transmitted infections, #mentalhealth and substance abuse educational and support services, certificates for #breastcancer, colorectal cancer and prostate cancer screenings, in addition to free massages and the well-known "Goya Better for You" product line.
Hudson County Latin American Chamber of Commerce, NJ (HCLACC) also participated as exhibitor at Save Latin America's 2024 Fall Family Health Festival. The #HCLACC Board of Directors, chaired by Heidi Castrillon, thanked the leaders of Save Latin America, Inc. for organizing this event that promotes the participation of organizations and institutions seriously committed to the #HudsonCounty community.
