September was a busy one across all our offices! Here’s a glimpse of what our employees have been up to lately. ??? Some of our crew from our Den Bosch, Netherlands office got together for dinner. ?? Our London office celebrated and welcomed colleagues from our recent StatsBomb acquisition. ?? We hosted our second Hudl Homecoming at our HQ, giving attendees the chance to enjoy activities like pickleball and a Nebraska Cornhuskers football game at Memorial Stadium. ?? Several employees took part in United Way's Day of Caring in the Lincoln community, volunteering at organizations like the Food Bank of Lincoln.

We’re excited to share groundbreaking research utilizing Hudl’s athlete monitoring system, WIMU. This article, led by FC Barcelona’s Javier Espasa Labrador, with contributions from our very own Carlos Martínez Rubio, showcases how WIMU redefines the boundaries of performance analysis. Javier and his team explored the intricate relationship between physical demands and player performance. Their insights, gathered using WIMU inertial sensors (without LPS/GPS) and basketball statistics, provide a fresh perspective on performance evaluation. Sabbatical season continues! Many of our employees have recently reached an anniversary milestone that unlocks time off and costs covered for a sabbatical. Sabbatical locations: Scotland, Italy and Norway Favorite place: “In our three weeks in Europe, my husband and I saw some of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. Truly the most epic trip. But Lysefjord took my breath away! We can’t wait to go back to Norway.”
