Partners, supporters and beneficiaries of the HHIP and Business Kirklees Thrive programme got together to celebrate the success of both projects yesterday. These projects have been funded by the Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). It was great to see so many familiar faces in the room and the connections made through both initiatives. A big thank you to all those that came to celebrate with us and our amazing speakers, that combined, demonstrated how we all can make a difference, not just locally and regionally but nationally, to drive health innovation and make meaningful changes. A key takeaway was from key speaker Richard Stubbs, CEO of Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber who encouraged us to take the best of West Yorkshire to the rest of the UK and beyond. Watch this space for new developments to support health innovation in Kirklees and West Yorkshire coming soon!
