Last night, we had the opportunity to shine the spotlight on the Gary Sinise Foundation at the NAHB International Builders' Show. We're proud to say that, through our partnership with the foundation, we've donated $1M in HEW products that supported the construction of 50 mortgage-free homes for veterans, first responders and their families. A highlight of the night was hearing Army veteran Bryan Anderson’s story of strength, resilience and a life changed after receiving a home from the Gary Sinise Foundation through their Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment program. We're thankful for leaders at Huber who have championed this cause and helped foster this partnership, including Brian Carlson, Lea (Chambers) Volpe, Kirk Blanchette and Christopher Vegas, a Westpoint graduate and Army veteran. We're excited to announce that Kirk Blanchette will succeed Brian Carlson as Huber Engineered Woods President after Brian's retirement on July 1 of this year. Brian has dedicated three decades of service to us here at Huber, and we're thankful for his remarkable leadership. As we extend our gratitude to Brian we also extend congratulations to Kirk, who currently serves as our Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Strategy and will bring over 25 years of experience to the president position. Our Crystal Hill, Virginia facility is celebrating their 30th birthday this month! Since producing its first board in February 1995, Crystal Hill has been an essential pillar of Huber. With an exceptional team—some of whom have been with the facility since the beginning—and a commitment to safety, they've earned six outstanding performance awards in safety and have maintained 18 years of Volunteer Protection Program (VPP) certification. As the team looks to the next 30 years, they continue to invest in capital improvements, workforce development and community partnerships. Here’s to the dedicated team that made Crystal Hill the powerhouse it is today.
