Meet Titana Mangola: Titana is an Inventory Team Lead at Huber Corp, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth production flow. She supports the welders, assemblers, machine operators, and even management, helping solve material movement challenges and keeping operations running efficiently. For Titana, working at Huber is about more than just the job. Growing up, she saw firsthand the dedication it takes — her father, Ryan, has been an Assembly Technician at the company for years. Inspired by his hard work, she set out to prove herself, pushing beyond her limits and stepping into new challenges. From Fab Warehouse to Assembly and even Paint, she has worked her way up by putting in the hours, problem-solving, and earning the respect of her peers. Her advice to young women considering a career in manufacturing? “It’s not for the weak, and it is for sure hard work. But if you put in the work and the time, you will be shown the utmost respect, and nothing measures up to that.” Props to Titana for always looking for the next challenge! Meet Heather Toncrey: Heather Toncrey is the Inside Sales Coordinator at Huber, where she has been working for over 15 years. Her daily tasks include quoting new units, managing chassis, and preparing units for customers. Heather enjoys working at Huber, especially because of the great people she gets to be around, although she acknowledges that there can be long, stressful days. Her advice to young women considering a career in this industry is simple: “Don’t let anyone run over you, speak up for yourself, and be strong.” Throughout her career, Heather has faced challenges, particularly the many tasks assigned to her and the pressure to please everyone, often taking on jobs that weren't even hers. She recognizes this as part of her controlling nature, but she’s learning to overcome it by asking for help and not trying to do everything herself. Reflecting on her career, Heather advises young women to “finish college and get a degree,” as she wishes she had stuck with school instead of immediately entering the workforce. In honor of the Women in Manufacturing Association celebrating its 15th anniversary, we’re proud to highlight the incredible women at Hol-Mac. Meet Nena DeBruyn: Nena DeBruyn began her career in manufacturing five and a half years ago with no prior experience. Starting as an engineering clerk at Keith Huber, she quickly discovered the many opportunities for growth in the industry. Over the years, Nena has gained valuable knowledge about the custom vacuum trucks built by the company and has continuously expanded her skill set. Her dedication and eagerness to learn led her to complete SolidWorks training, allowing her to assist the engineering team when workloads became heavy. Additionally, Nena took on the responsibility of creating all the decals placed on the units and has pursued self-training in DraftSight 2-D/3-D CAD. Currently, Nena is working towards her associate’s degree in 3-D modeling drafting at MGCCC. Once she completes her degree, she plans to officially add 3-D drafting to her role at Keith Huber. Nena is proud of the progress she has made and is excited for the future. She strongly believes that women belong in manufacturing and engineering and continues to break barriers in the industry.
