Awesome presentation last night from Jeanne Sikoff of Zander's Game House. Some important takeaways: - Always be thinking about opportunities. The idea for Zander's came from using board games for autism therapy. - Sometimes a niche is bigger than you think. Board and card games are still very popular, and the market is growing. - #IRL social networking is back! Zander's regularly fills up with people who are passionate about playing board and card games. - Listen to your customers. It invariably leads to new opportunities. - A crisis can be an opportunity. Global Game Jam 2025 recap! This year’s theme—“Bubble”—sparked some incredible creativity, from high-energy party games to strategic card battles. We kicked off the weekend by watching the theme reveal together, then spent 48 hours bringing ideas to life. Some standout games from the jam: ??
