One of the best parts of my work is bringing people together - not just for collaboration and productivity, but for moments of connection, fun, and adventure. Our Impact Hub Zürich Snow Day was exactly that! From carving down the slopes ???? to sharing laughs on the chairlift and warming up over a well-earned break, it was a perfect reminder that community happens everywhere, not just within four walls. I believe that strong connections make work and life more meaningful. That’s why I love creating opportunities for people to meet, share experiences, and build relationships - whether it’s on the slopes, around a shared meal, or through inspiring conversations. These moments strengthen our community and make everyday work life even better. Grateful to be part of this and to create spaces where people can connect beyond their to-do lists. Last Friday, as part of the Community Building & Communication Bootcamp within the Clima Now Horizon Program, we explored these questions—and many more! For those curious about the key takeaways and expert insights, here’s a glimpse of what we covered: ?? Maren St?ber (Protect Our Winters Switzerland) kicked off the day with inspiring insights on key ingredients for community building: A shared purpose, a specific call-to-action and co-creation activies. ?? Julia Wunsch highlighted the importance of prioritizing target groups, communication goals and channels —backed by examples, pro tools, and practical tips for social media content. ?? Laurène Descamps compiled knowledge on behavioural change, explaining how impact projects can use psychological heuristics—like time distortion or availability bias—to drive more sustainable behaviours. Thanks, Lara Mogge (IHZ), for bringing this to the project teams! ?? Thalia Wünsche took us behind the scenes of Graubünden Tourism, revealing their "secret sauce" for creating funny, relevant, and trend-driven content. ?? During hands-on coaching sessions, all teams had the opportunity to dive into their specific challenges with Christian Müller (Gutundgut), Roberto De Bonis (Panter), and Thalia Wünsche (Graubünden Ferien)—gaining actionable insights to take their projects forward.
