We are so honored to have been awarded a grant from IronMountain Solutions, Inc.’s Employee Peak Fund. This award will be going supporting Our Kids Clothing Closet, that provides clothing and other necessities to foster families and kids in care. To date, IronMountain has given away over $500,000 to local nonprofits. Our Sonnie Side Up ???? program ended the first semester at Sonnie Hereford Elementary by blessing the incredible teachers with a Christmas goodie, serving in their student Christmas shoppe, and helping to fill Christmas list for the school’s 25 wonderful kiddos (thank you to The Rock Family Worship Center for helping us collect those gifts). ???? We love this school dearly and will pick back up with our reading program in January.

Today we were awarded a grant from Cintel, Inc. for Merea House and another from Give256 for our PAR "Prepare and Respond" - Disaster Relief program at the annual Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville’s #GivingTuesday event at Torch Technologies, Inc. We are amazed at not only the generosity in our amazing city but also by the collaborative effort by so many nonprofits working in Huntsville/Madison County. Thank you to all who have given today! Your Generosity has helped us bring restoration, hope, and community to over 20 single women, single moms, and their children who need healing from trauma by creating a home that encourages healthy relationships, while walking them through emotional healing, financial recovery, basic living skills, and so much more at Merea House. Our newest development includes the construction of duplexes on the merea house property that will serve as a long term housing option for single women and single women with children.
