Today, we honor Veterans Day, a day to recognize the bravery, dedication, and sacrifices of all who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. This special day marks the anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I on November 11, 1918—a moment that brought peace after profound sacrifice. Palm Beach County played a significant role during WWI, providing troops, resources, and community support that underscored the collective commitment to the nation's efforts. We express our deepest gratitude to our veterans for their unwavering commitment to defending our freedoms. Image Descriptions: 1. An induction ceremony from World War I in West Palm Beach, capturing a solemn moment as soldiers take their oaths to serve and protect. 2. Canteen workers pose for a group photo, representing the crucial support provided by volunteers during wartime. 3. Troops march down Clematis Street, showcasing the unity and dedication of soldiers preparing for service. 4. A gathering of World War I veterans in 1923, reflecting on their service and shared commitment. #VeteransDay #PalmBeachHistory #ThankYouVeterans #HistoricTributes #PBChistory #USA?
