The population includes those individuals who are: living with HIV/AIDS, single parents; substance abusers; the homeless; formerly incarcerated the physically and developmentally disabled. The mission of HSNY is to promote, foster and advance the health and welfare of the targeted persons in need by providing temporary & permanent housing placement, access to resources and preventative social services to enable our clients by all means and methods to better maintain permanent stable housing that is decent, safe and sanitary. Housing Solutions of New York is committed to developing the necessary Life & Living skills of its clients to become an asset to themselves, their family and the community. The vision of HSNY is to help communities become a safe place for individuals and families. Our organization participates in collaborations that foster better housing and economic development that can attract investment and jobs to the Bronx.

The MRT and Health Care Management staff also attended the ACT symposium this month, where they were able to get important industry information in order to stay up to date and provide the best services available! (Pics 1-3) ?????? On Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, the FNS team attended a symposium at Baruch College, hosted by the NYC Health Department. Please help us welcome our panel facilitator, Landon Dais, Esq., is an American attorney and politician, currently serving in the New York State Assembly for the 77th district, which covers parts of The Bronx. Elected in February 2024, he previously ran for the New York City Council in 2009. Dais holds a B.A. from Morehouse College, an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, and a J.D. from Hofstra Law School. He is recognized for his work in social justice and economic development and has received multiple awards for his pro bono efforts. Prior to his election, Cunningham worked as an aide in the New York State Legislature and as an advocate counselor with CAMBA, Inc. He has previously run for the New York City Council and is known for his community engagement and dedication to addressing the challenges faced by working families and immigrants. She holds a bachelor's in social work, a Master of Social Work from Columbia University, and a Master of Urban Planning from NYU.
