Our partner group, Vshine, coordinated the rescue of 164 dogs from a dog meat trafficking truck outside of Dalian, a city in Northeastern China. The dogs were exhausted, dehydrated and frightened, with some already dead on the scene. Vshine and other local activists worked hard to carefully unload all surviving dogs who were rushed to Vshine's veterinary shelter for emergency care before being moved to other local shelters for rehabilitation and local adoption.
