As humans supporting other humans, we can all connect aspects of our stories with others who also serve in the HR profession. On Friday, March 7, 2025, HRUnite! hosted our Seventh Annual HR Leaders on Leadership - Metro Detroit event at Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. This intimate audience experience isn't your typical professional development event. The speakers who take this stage are not professional speakers, they are not passing on information to tell you how to be a better leader - they are sharing their own personal story, successes, challenges and lessons learned on their professional journey so that we can all learn and benefits. Our speakers own their story and determine how that story may be told - embracing the imperfections of that journey and inspiring us in the process. This is the type of learning experience that allows us to self-reflect, celebrate, encourage and help others rise which allows us to grow and rise ourselves.
