This order previously required federal contractors to implement affirmative action and prohibited employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Key details: ?? The revocation eliminates the mandate for affirmative action plans for federal contractors. ??Protections against discrimination for the above categories are no longer enforced under this order. ??The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) will likely undergo changes in its enforcement role.
